7 people were killed, and nearly 50 wounded, in a terror attack on the town square in Ituango, Antioquia late Thursday night. Many of the injured were teenagers and children celebrating at a town street festival. Police arrested one man in the moments after the bomb who they say is a known FARC operative.
Ituango is in the remote northern part of Antioquia, about a 12 hour drive by car from Medellin.

just to say That I was a kind of impress with the way RCN and Brian are making people understand the importance of showing our country news at least in english I mean we are now in a bilingual period of training so that's perfect and I wish you the best. all my students will check you out guys thanks for contributing to the progress of our country and our new generations minds

I really like the news. It's the english version of what I see on RCN. It shows the world the good and bad of the country and lets them make up their own mind. Thanks Brian and RCN for this great service!

Wow this is great for colombians like me that even though we live outside Colombia, the country we live in is a spanish speaking one also. Thus, we can practice our English!!!

I have very important people in other countries and I know that every day they see this portal on the internet to know what is happening in our beautiful country. super contenta con algunas de las noticias en ingles presentadas por brian andrews las cuales presentan mucho interes para mis hijos que no les atrae mucho las noticias en espanol ya que son solo de paramilitares y guerrilleros, no mucho sobre los problemas cotidianos de las regiones en colombia, felicitaciones a brian andrews y a rcn por su nueva tv. audiencia mundial.

I agree with Dolly that it's fantastic for RCN to have an English news programme. Okay, so it is a little (North) American, but Mr Andrews seems to be passionate about his position, so congratulations all round! (Mi esposa esta Colombiana y yo vivo en Colombia hace 4 años)
